My New Tac light/Laser Combo Super Happy!! – I received my tac light and laser combo a couple of days ago. I got it for my 9mm Beretta which I already had a rail and fits perfectly. I don’t know how to rate the lumens but it is brighter than my other lights (all with fresh batteries). The green laser is super bright and my buddy who lives a little over a block away was able to see the laser on his bedroom wall when I pointed it from my house.(during daylight hours). Bright, sturdy, and looks good. – Received my Hi-Light P20GL today so this review is based on my initial impressions.The light housing seems to be durable aluminum. The battery access/power switch panel on the back is a plastic/composite material. I was mildly dissapointed in that. The location of power button seems to okay on the back left of the light. Right hand shooter best depressed by the support hand thumb, left handed shooter easily depressed with trigger finger. The light/laser option is selected by a tiny toggle switch on the back of the laser. It is slightly awkward to use but functional.The laser is plenty bright, I like it. The light also appears to be bright but I have not used it in the dark, yet. The strobe is plenty annoying when shined in the face, according to my son (it was not mounted, don’t worry).The light came with a momentary switch on the end of a short cord that plugs into the side of the laser. There is a velcro strip that can be stuck to the gun to mount the switch. Ultimately this seems clumbsy and impractical. I do not intend to use this feature.The light has a thumb screw and mounts very securely to the rail. My Sig P226 rail is long enough that the light will mount in two locations. However, when mounted in the back location the switches are not easily accessible so on short railed guns this might be an issue. The forward location works well with good switch access.All in all I like the light. It looks great on the gun and appears to be quite sturdy. I look forward to shooting with it this weekend and I think will be great for my bedside gun.

Excellent Tactical Light that will not break the bank! – This is an excellent flashlight and laser. I others that cost 5 times more but were 10 times harder to sight in. This tactical light and laser fits on the Ruger PC 9 carbine as if it was made for it. Sighting in the HLight was very easy and within 10 minutes with the bore sight it was right on. At the range at 50 yards in daytime you can see the green dot. Grouping was 2 to 3 inches with a cross wind of 5-10 mph. well built. Would highly recommend this product. Well constructed at an affordable price. LEO reviewer. – I purchased the tac light after reviewing several different lights. I wasn’t too sure about this one because there’s a lot of iffy and crappy lights/lasers available for less than $150. This one is well worth the price.Out of the box, I noticed this has a spring loaded thumb screw to make it easier to get it on and off the gun. For my Glock 22, I had to completely unscrew it to get it on, which isn’t a surprise for the width of the Glock. However, the light fits tight on the Glock. (P.S. Watch out when you open the box. The allen wrench is small and it almost fell out without me seeing it.)Sighting it in was really simple. The screws are tight and stay tight, keeping the light attached to the gun and the laser aligned properly. There is a plastic clip on the battery cover. Make sure the the clip is flipped up in the lock position. Otherwise, you’ll be like me and looking for the batteries on the ground when you rack a round and the battery cover pops off. I fired 50 rounds and the laser stayed aligned at 20 yards.Construction-wise, it’s a solid piece of aluminum, except the battery cover is plastic. I’d prefer aluminum but the plastic seems to be pretty solid. Side note, the rubber/silicone seal between the unit and the cover seems to be a decent quality and seals tight. There shouldn’t be any problem with dirt or water getting in.Brightness. I was impressed with the brightness of the light and the laser. The laser is plenty bright during the day at 20 yards. The same goes for the flashlight at night. I’m not usually a fan of most LED lights because they don’t seem to project a beam far enough for me. This one was good at 100 feet. It’s plenty bright.The buttons. The on/off switch is located on the left side and the mode select is dead center bottom of the unit. I’m a lefty and my fingers aren’t quite long enough to hit the switch. Since I’m used to equipment made for right-handed people, this wasn’t a big deal for me. If you shoot two-handed, you should have no problem with hitting the switches using your non-dominate index finger. My only concern is the mode select switch because it is a small metal toggle switch. While it seems to be a solid switch, I’m curious as to how long it will last before wearing out. Luckily, this switch is small and there’s almost no chance of it snagging on something when it’s on the gun. The mode sect switch has flashlight only (left position), laser only (center position), and a combined laser/light option (right position). If you switch from right to center and back to right, the laser/light combo becomes a light only strobe. flipping it again changes it back to light/laser combo.Duty use: So far, I’ve had no issue with the light using it in the field. I had two concerns, knocking the cap of the light off (which happened with my old tac light) or knocking the laser out of alignment. Being left-handed, you wouldn’t believe how much your gun and holster hit the seat getting in and out of the car because you’re pivoting on your left side. I used my Fobus GLT17LH holster, which has the light fully exposed, while on duty and I am glad to report that I had no problems with the light staying on my gun, the light staying together, and the laser staying aligned. I was in and out of the car several times and have no issues with function or quality.

Loose Lazer setting – I received the Lazer flashlight. It was very nice. Worked well for a few days but the green Lazer wasn’t holding 0. It then started to seem to be loose and adjustment wasn’t holding and became dim. Great addition to defensive shotgun – Great item at less than 1/3 price of “big name” similar items. Mounted forward on mag tube of a Mossberg 500 using a Cdm Gear Mtr Shotgun Light Mount (also from Amazon). Sighted in at about 12 yd. using #1 buckshot Fired about 20 rounds during and after sight in, no problems. Battery door issue mentioned in several negative reviews is simple – when you close the battery door make sure you press it in slightly and then firmly push up on the latch, it will click in place tighter and stop the door opening under recoil.

Superb item; it’s great – I bought two, one for my semi-autos hand guns and one for a friend. The items arrived yesterday and I started checking mine out today. This unit is really great. Not only is it a fine green laser, but by working a tiny toggle switch on the back (it turns on or off with a push button or via a plug-in extension switch) you can turn on a flashlight but with the laser in the middle, or just the laser, or just the flashlight or a strobe. And installation is about as simple as possible. Unscrew the screw at the top to “open” the bracket, put it in place, then turn the screw to mount the unit to your handgun rail. Adjusting the laser as is always required upon installation is easily done with set screws built into the side and bottom of the unit for that purpose. Been testing mine and wow, this is a really great buy!

So far so good! – So I haven’t put this through it’s paces yet. I received it yesterday and slapped it on my .22LR pistol (Mossberg 715P). It seems solid enough. I expect it to work great on this small caliber pistol, I usually go higher end on my other guns. The switch has a nice “click” to it. The three way toggle switch that goes from light only to laser only to both works well and feels nice and tight. The light is nice and bright! It would definitely temporarily blind someone’s night vision if you blast them in the eyes with it. I like the rail mount, it seems good and sturdy and isn’t going to budge even being bumped. I’m very happy with the purchase, it makes my new toy look tough!

Stop Looking and Purchase this unit …. You will be happy. – I’m writing this post because I looked at these flashlight laser combos for a long time before I finally purchased one. I was afraid of this one because of the lower price, but I feel this unit will do everything I want to do with it for years to come. I was also worried about some of the negative comments about the battery door coming off, it states in the instruction that when you close the battery door you have to push the clip up which I did and it secures tightly with the snap. I was very impressed with the bright light and the green laser has a really long range on it even in daylight. I read so many comments trying to make sure if it would fit on the AR-15 rails. I’m letting you know it fits perfectly and installed in minutes and zeroed in with my other sites perfectly. I will definitely recommend this to others and I suggest for the price, you cannot beat it as opposed to the ones that are three or four times this price on the market for the same unit. Another thing I like about this unit is it came with a sensor switch with a short wire and connected perfectly on my quad rails and attached to my front grip without all of the extra wire hanging out. Again I would highly recommend you purchase this unit and you will be very satisfied with it.

Second unit. First one led light failed. – Had on a Springfield xdm 45 service model and held zero very well. Second range visit about 250 rounds of Walmart ammo was ran thru it and all the sudden the light stopped working. Awesome Light-Laser Combo – Let’s start out…we are not comparing this product with some of the high cost light/laser combos. But let me tell you it can hold it’s own against them.ProsQuality construction – Aluminum body and the battery cover is plastic allowing flexibility to snap it in place. (For the people complaining the battery cover flies off, Push the Tab Up after snapping on the cover, it will lock in place and not fly off when your are firing your weapon – Stays on a 9mm Glock34 – Looks Cool)Bright light… whether it’s 500, 490 or 480 Lumens does it matter? It’s bright and will light up the darkness to find your target.Laser is Green and visible; much better than a red laser…I’m able to see it in bright daylight.I have to admit…I was installing the light/laser on a Sub 2000, but it looks Super Cool on my Glock34Not Heavy, unscrew thumbscrew, push in (spring loaded) mount on lower rail, tighten thumbscrew and snug down with a quarter or key (in picture)Skinny hex wrench accurately moves the laser right above my sight…’SMALL MOVES’ go slow as with any little adjustments screws, check-re-check-check-re-check until it’s perfect. Don’t lose wrenchA three (3) position toggle (Light-Laser or BOTH (wow). Illuminate the target and laser is on target…BingoComes with a momentary switch…quick light acquisition…real nice if I was still a LEOConsRight now it would be: the instructions. (Still looks cool on a Glock 34)* How do you remove the battery cover? The tab is there, but should you Gorilla it, or apply gentle steady pressure downward and the cover comes off, tilt and pull. To reinstall: bottom goes on first (like a hinge), slowly with even pressure snap the battery cover on and then push the Tab up which locks it in place.* Indicator arrows are needed on the instructions to show which way to move screw for Up-Down or Left-RightOverall – It looks cool on my Glock34 (I said that already – see pic). Well made, quality, bright light, daylight visible laser, options available whether you need them or not and it doesn’t break the bank.I’ll update if I decide to install on the Sub2000…I ordered the HiLight PS5 for the Glock, but i really like the Laser/Light combo

It’s good for what it is. – This fits well on my Glock 17. The flashlight is bright, and the laser seems easy to see and adjust (I wont be able to test the accuracy of that laser until Friday at least). I have really no complaints as of this moment and it does exactly what its supposed too. I’m going to buy another and try on my FN-45 Tactical.Edit: Took longer than I wanted to write this, I bought 2 more for other hand guns because it worked excellent, I bought it more for the light its self, but ended up liking the laser sight as well. It works well with the recoil on my FN-40, FN-45, and my Glock 17. I also tried it on one of my AKM’s and it was able to zero and handle the recoil just find (I prefer them on my handguns though since I buy dedicated lights for my rifles since they typically have higher recoil).

Lock the backplate tab. – At first I had an issue with this item, when the slide dropped, the back cover plate would detatch and the batteries would fall out. I contacted the seller and he informed me that the small tab on the backplate had to be pushed up. I tried that and it locked it into place. Problem solved. Sight was east to sight in. Great little light/ sight for my glock.

Definitely Worth The Money! – This is my 2nd purchase of this item. I liked it so much I just had to get another one. I put the 1st one on an AR platform. As advertised…AND CONTINUES TO IMPRESS!! – This is an update after 2+ years mounted on the bottom side of the business end of my .300 Bing-Bang. I can’t say enough about this little gem, the laser is crisp, accurate with an impressive battery life for sharing juice with a blinding flashlight. Yes children, when closing the battery compartment hatch, make sure you hear and feel an obvious “‘click” or it’s not secure. This is usually the case with similar battery compartments that utilize springs on the interior of the door to provide the tension necessary to maintain contact. Customer service was top shelf much to my relief when I was horrified to discover that my pressure switch cord was completely severed!!? Yes, unit still operable but I won’t have one if it does not have a pressure switch (and I never recommend anyone else do either) for several reasons. Spoke with the CEO himself who was happy to get a replacement on it’s way to me if I could cover the 5 or 6 bucks shipping…which I was happy to. For me personally, this is as mandatory as the ammo for my home defense greeting package.

A good device for a relatively modest price. – The media could not be loaded. It was easy for me to install and it was very firm on my Beretta APX. The small screws for laser graduation are very comfortable to handle. The flashlight has a fairly good white light.I have read in other comments that after a few shots the battery compartment cover has opened. So that this does not happen, they have to make sure that it is properly closed, and that the tab has been well placed in the groove where it should fit. When I went to shoot I did a round of 50 shots in a row and, at no time, the lid that covers the batteries was opened.For the price and performance, I did not hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Great flashlight-laser combo! – This is a great gun attachment if you don’t take into consideration the issues with the battery door. Overall it resembles Streamlight TLR2-G and has almost the same characteristics. When I took it to the range to shoot from a beretta92 the battery door fell off. I was able to attach it back so that it stayed put but that was a great distraction for me to cross the firing line to get it from the floor. It has a sturdy laser adjustment mechanism which makes you feel like it’s going to hold the zero. But I couldn’t get a great accuracy comparing to TLR2-G. Another thing that I didn’t like was the brightness of the flashlight. With 500 lumens as it states on the box, it was less bright comparing to my Streamlight with only 300 lumens. For those who cannot afford a Streamlight TLR2 or SureFire X400 (I cannot afford this one either), this $70 combo is a great alternative.
